what is
picky?
picky is an attempt to bring a decent color picker to Lightwave. it has a
few useful features like the 'color tree' which allows users to file
colors away for later use, and an image color picker that allows for
picking colors out of images. it also has a few other niceties including
wheel mouse support and floating point color support. currently, picky is
only available for Lightwave [6.5].

what os?
picky uses a lot of platform specific code making a mac port a real issue.
it should however be easy enough to port over to NT alpha, depending on
demand.
what is the difference between the two downloads?
as picky uses platform specific code, it
depends on certain system files for correct operation. the 'package for
the web' installation is automatic and includes the required system files.
the ZIP file is much smaller and does not contain the system files. if you
know that your system has version 6 or higher MFC files, you may wish to
use the ZIP download. if unsure, download the full installation. in both
cases, remember to read the picky.html file in your plugin directory for
instructions on how to complete the installation.
